About Us

Hi there, I’m Bec, owner and founder of Hunter & Franklin in Perth, Western Australia.

After an incredibly difficult personal year for our family in 2023, we had another significant blow with the passing of our gorgeous and gentle 14.5 year old rescue Border Collie x Kelpie, Chief. He came everywhere with us, so it was another huge loss for us. Our home felt like it was missing its heartbeat.

I was determined to fill 2024 with positivity and healing, and decided it was time for another fluff ball in our home. I missed the cuddles so much, and knew the time was right. Enter, Franklin.

This venture was embarked upon after shopping for our incoming Australian Shepherd puppy, Franklin (hence he’s the namesake of the business – Hunter is my family name). I was overwhelmed by primary colours, outdated designs, and poor-quality pet products on offer. When a love of animals, interior design, and colour combines, developing Hunter & Franklin was a no-brainer.

Our aim is to produce quality pet products in gorgeous on trend colours that complement your home's interior – something that you’d be proud to have on display.
